The Ballroom of Reno School of Dance is Partnering with the Boys & Girls Club!

We are very proud to share the news that we received official notification from the Leonette Foundation that they are awarding The Ballroom of Reno our grant request for the funding to initiate the Dance With Me - Youth program for the Boys & Girls Club!!

We would like to thank Mo Kachurak, President of the Leonette Foundation, and Mike Wurm Chief Executive Officer for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows.

We cannot be more excited to have our very own Gerzon Chaves start teaching our first classes at the Boys & Girls Club. He won't be teaching ballroom dance in the Reno facilities...yet...but he has great plans to get them doing Latin dancing quickly and easily. It's gonna be awesome!
Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. We look forward to a long relationship in bringing dance to the future dancers of the world.

Gerzon will be starting Bachta lessons at each of the three Boys & Girls Club locations soon.  The classes will be geared to teach respect, memorization, and physical movement through dance.  We hope to inspire future generations of dancers to continue to grow our local Reno and Sparks dance community.  This is just the beginning of many dance programs TBOR has in the works.

The Ballroom of Reno is a non-profit 501(c)3 and is creating a great affordable membership program for members to partner with them on a monthly basis.  The membership will give you many benefits and help support the continued efforts of community outreach.  For more information or donations please contact the Ballroom at https://www.theballroomofreno.org/donate
It's kinda awesome being your non-profit ballroom dance studio.

Cheers,
J
